Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have reportedly decided to move back to the United Kingdom after living in California for several years, citing disillusionment with the current U.S. administration as their reason.
According to reports, the couple will relocate to a private residence outside London with their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, who will begin enrollment in British schools in September. King Charles III has been informed of the move and has expressed his welcome.
The decision follows a period when Harry and Meghan publicly criticized the British monarchy in 2020, describing it as cold, uncaring, and racially insensitive, which led them to relocate to California.
Katie Miller, wife of White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller, stated on social media that “They are moving back to Britain because they don’t like President Trump” and added that Meghan “always just wanted to be a celebrity.”
The couple has also been involved in public discussions regarding Harry’s drug use mentioned in his memoir, Spare.
