Trump outlined these issues as the White House released documents revealing systemic weaknesses. He stated that the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) had been directed to notify states about non-citizens on their voter rolls and “remove all ineligible voters from the lists immediately.”
The White House has now presented concrete evidence of election vulnerabilities, while President Trump proposed a straightforward fix: The SAVE America Act would require voters to present photo identification and proof of citizenship before casting ballots in federal elections. This legislation is minimal—no bureaucratic complexity or hidden agendas—merely confirming American identity prior to participation.
